My Dear Aunt Doris, How can I express the love, joy, and fun you gave to me and my family. Fondest memories, riding in your lavender Corvair through the mountains of Vermont with the top down, singing and laughing. Your amazing home, the dogs, (especially Ranger) horses, parties, my mother reading your tea leaves in your kitchen!!!!!!!!!! You could take the simplest things and create the most amazing home!! Will miss you forever, and whenever I hear the song "My Favorite Things", I will think of you!!! Doris, you were a blessing in my life and I thank God that he blessed us with you!!! I will see you again in heaven!!!!!!!!!

Besides my parents and immediate family, you were one of the most influential persons in my life. You came to Vermont to visit Helen and the kids and had the most beautiful bridal shower for me at the farm. You taught me to live it up and to keep a home looking wonderful. God knows how sorrowful I feel knowing you are no longer here. I was privileged to have you in my life from my birth in January of 1955 until a few years ago when we had lunch in Holmdel.
"Parting is such sweet sorrow."
Love you forever!
Sheila

Aunt Doris "Our God-Mother" but always Aunt Doris to us, you will be remembered for all the good times we shared growing up at the ranch and beyond. May peace be with you - "Little Bit and Goober" our nicknames given by you, Elizabeth Ewald Miskalo and Edwin Ewald.
