What makes friends close. This is only my theory. I think because there is a sense of humor connection and your dad and I had it. We met often at Dunkin Donuts and would laugh for an hour or two taking about all kinds of shit. Years ago we often played singles in tennis together and the one thing I resented in your dad was that I never ever beat him. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. And we loved each other. We met at Dunkin a few weeks ago and when we went to part which would be for the last time, we hugged and almost fell over, losing our balance. Your dad said "I guess we may be too old to hug." but I'm glad we did. We each had a private name for the other. I was P and he was M. It's kind of special when two guys have nicknames for each other that are shared by no one else. I loved M and I will f..king miss him. Love P

I was so saddened when I heard of Mike's passing.

I have never met a man more worthy of all the titles he wore, and wore so well.

Friend, colleague, husband, father, grandfather.

He was a "professional" and a gentleman at every thing he did and said.

I was so sad to hear about Mike's passing. He was such a sweet man and a very special friend to my parents Herb and Beverly Singer. He will be greatly missed.

Mike and I shared stories of our service during the Korean War era. I will miss seeing and chatting with him in the halls of RiverWalk where we were first floor neighbors.

Mike was one of my dad's dearest friends, a caring man with a good soul. He was of immeasurable help to me and my family when my dad, Irving or "Red" as he called him, passed nearly 20 years ago. I will always hold him in a special place in my life, I miss him.
