Guestbook for Georgia A. Smith Showing 1 - 9 of 9 entries.

I first met Georgia in the early fifties when I was a young bride and she was my wonderful neighbor, She was my friend and neighbor for over fifty years until we moved to Michigan. During the next five years we talked on the telephone frequently. I only wish that I had been able to attend her going home service. She was the most beautiful Christian in every aspect of her life. I loved her dearly!!

She was a "King's Men Groupie" for all the years that Don directed. He would pick her up on his way and drop her back off on his way home; a concert just wasn't the same unless Don's Mom was in the audience/congregation and we missed that when Don retired from directing.

I don't think I ever saw your mom with out a smile on her face.. from Sunday school to the day when I would see here at Meadow Green.... She had more energy than anyone person I know..... She was a gift for so many for so long .......

What a blessing and inspiration Georgia was for me, I admired her spunk and passion for teaching and helping espicially with childrens ministries. She taught me you are never too old to help. When ever you saw Georgia you knew you could get a big hug, a smiler and a chuckle! She will be greatly missed.

Jill Davis

Fond memories of Aunt Georgia and her winsome and very upbeat personality. Growing up as kids we enjoyed our many visits to Lynden and many family gatherings often at Bill and Georgia's home.
