Brenda, Alan & Neal,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of your parents. I have so many fond memories of them, including going to your house on New Years Day to watch the Rose Parade because you had a color TV and we did not. One of the best memories I have is of your mom and my mom singing the song "Side by Side" together. It is this type of memory that sustains us during the difficult days, weeks and months after they leave us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and may Charlie and Lila rest eternal.

I've got great memories of both of them. Charlie planting the tree in my yard, doing the Abe Lincoln making the fence. Great memories. They will be greatly missed.

To Brenda, Alan, and Neal,
Your family meant so much to me growing up in Baldwinville. Your mom and dad were good friends to my parents and to me. I enjoyed seeing them whenever I was in Massachusetts in the many years after I moved away. They were always so wonderful to visit, to talk about the past, and to tell me about your families. Brenda, do you remember Mr. Sparks? I loved your mom and dad very much and will never forget them.
