I will always remember Dorothy as a gracious lady with a beautiful smile and loving care towards people. I enjoyed the years of singing in choir with her.
Dear Bill, Lynn, Carol, and Dave, pease know that love and prayers for comfort are sent to you. I'll be thinking of you all on Saturday

My Mom was the glue that held our family together. As a military family we moved around the country and Europe,. She always made a home where ever we were. Her quiet strength alway gave me a sense of comfort and a feeling of safety.
She will be in my heart forever, and I will miss her terribly.

May the promise found at Isaiah 25:8 bring some comfort in the death of Dorothy Vassar. "He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces." Just imagine no more pain and grief due to the death of a love one! By means of the Kingdom that Jesus Christ taught us to pray for at Matthew 6:9,10 God will remove sickness, old age and death from the human family. God's original purpose for the earth being a paradise will be realized.

Mrs.Vassar was a Godly lady.Always she was very gracious. She and my Mother,Helen Buzzell were good friends there in Brunswick. I kept in touch with her and her husband after they moved away. She will be sorely missed. I send my deepest sympathy to Bill,Dave,Carol,and Lynne.

My condolences to Dorothy's husband Bill and Dorothy's family. I had the pleasure of meeting and caring for Dorothy this year. Dorothy was always very pleasant and smiling. My heart hurts for the loss of such a wonderful precious woman. Love you Dorothy. May the angels in heaven be with you.
