I am shocked to learn of the passing of Ms. Jones. I met her via a scholarship opportunity that I was making available for the students at Mt. Vernon High School. I introduced the scholarship to several counselors in Prince Williams and Fairfax County schools. The scholarship was specifically for minorities. Ms. Jones was the only counselor that saw the value of the scholarship for her students. I am sadden to learn of her passing. May God grant peace to her family and friends during their moments of sorrow.

My first contact with Ms Jones was at Mt. Vernon High school. She was so caring and was always ready to help in any way she could.She helped my son to get a full ride to Fort Valley State University and has finally graduated at University of Arkansas with two stem degrees. Wish she could hear this. Such was her love for her students that she accompanied us to Fort Valley to support them receive the scholarship award being the only counselor who came with her group.She has been following their progress and sending emails now and then. We feel her departure greatly and she will be sorely missed by my family.My condolences to the family.

TO the family of Mrs Jones sorry to hear the passing of your loved one.Mrs. Jones was a beautiful person and always had a smile on her face.GOD is with you in your time of loss.Closer than a falling tear. Too sad learning of Audrey's passing. Beautiful lady with that fantastic illuminating smile. She will be missed. But her transition moves her away from pain. Off the pathway of illness. Into the arms of our Father safe and comforted. To the family, today is your day of sorrow wishing and wondering why her. But know and understand that there will be that tomorrow when Audrey's memories will be your comforter moving you beyond the earthy feeling to realizing that heavenly bliss. We are unfortunately and deeply saddened for being unable to attend Audrey's memorial service. However, we write this to the family, sharing that we are only a few of those individuals touched in a positive way by knowing Audrey, being in her company. Remember God does not make mistakes. He will continue to hold you and the family in his loving hands. He's always at your side. Prayers for the family of Ms. Audrey Jones who will reside forever in our heart and mind.
