Dear Mrs. Wise, Craig, Cheryl and Lisa,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Wise; his children are a testament to a man who gave much to the arts and the community -- that was clear to me even all those years ago in high school and although I have not been in touch since. My thoughts are with you all; my father passed three years ago and while time does help, the gap will always be felt. I hope you will have solace in the love evident in the obituary.
kind regards,
Allison Dutoit

Dear Jan, Craig, Cheryl and Lisa,
I have so many fond memories of your family, and I was saddened to read of Chuck's passing in the Telegram. Chuck was the salt of the earth. What an incredible family man and community supporter. Especially the arts. I will always picture him on stage. He was always energetic, humorous and positive. Know that I am thinking of all of you. With much love, Jann Battersby

Chuck was my "little brother". He and I shared many memories as youngsters. We had many vacations with our family and my cousin John and his family. He was a good brother and I was always proud of his many accomplishments. He gave me the only "sister" I ever had when he married Jan. We enjoyed our time when they came to Florida.
I will miss him very much but know he's in a good place. My Love to Jan and all their family. Love Sis

Dear Jan and family, Jim joins me in sending our condolences at the death of your loving husband and father. Although we haven't seen you in awhile, we in Adrian have many happy memories of the Wises. Of course we remember Chuck's involvement with the Croswell both on stage and off. We also remember a few bridge games and we will never forget the "all night" ride and dinner to Redkey Indiana. Our love to you, Linda
