Sylvia J. Busack, 90 of Bellaire, Ohio died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born July 30, 1922 in Benwood, West Virginia a daughter of the late John F. and Grace E. Willis Rushman.
Sylvia was a retired employee of the former Busack Brothers, IGA in Bellaire, Ohio, a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio, Catholic Daughters of America, Catholic Womens Club, Altar and Rosary Society and the Sons of Italy Lodge 754.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mario D. Busack, Sr. on December 20, 2004 and one son, Peter Busack on November 8, 2006, five brothers, George, Richard, Thomas, James and John Rushman and one sister, Francine Rushman.
Surviving are her children, Mario (Dottie) Busack, Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio, James (Tina) Busack of Shadyside, Ohio and Bruce Busack of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Louella (George) Glasgow of Moundsville, West Virginia and one half sister, Goldie Rumora in Florida. Also ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
Vigil services will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
