Theodore "Ted" J Zabrosky, 97, of Norristown on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, after a brief stay at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehab Center, Royersford, PA. Born September 28, 1921 in Swedesburg, PA, he was the son of the late Mary (Slavick) and the late Louis Zaboroski, and husband of the late Jennie (Balzona) Zabrosky.


Mr. Zabrosky was member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a retired postal clerk with USPS working at 30th Station on the mail car, and a US Army War veteran. He was a Tech Sgt with the infantry in the ETO, receiving 3 bronze stars and the following decorations: Purple Heart, Good Conduct, American Campaign, Victory and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was also a member of the following veteran’s organizations: DAV, chapter 25, Ntn; VFW Post 7878, King of Prussia; Military Order of Purple Heart, 1777, Coatesville; and the American Legion, Parker Post 901, Jeffersonville. He was a lifetime member, held many offices with the various groups and was a strong advocate for veterans’ rights.

Survivors include sister, Stella Plush and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Stanley "George" Zabrosky, Sally Ranieri, Laura Martin, and Louise Zielinski

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Oct. 12 from 9:15 10:15 am at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1100 W. Marshall St., Ntn. at 11 am. Entombment St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, East Norriton, Pennsylvania 19401

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to the SEPA Veterans Center, c/o Welfare Fund, 1 Veterans Dr, Spring City, PA 19475.
