ALEXANDRIA, IN- Larry Peck, 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from injuries received in an auto accident in rural Alexandria.

He was born on October 23, 1938 in Alexandria to Claude and Geneva (Brown) Peck and has lived in Alexandria for most of his lifetime. Larry was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1956.
In his early years, Larry attended the Parsons School of Art and Design in New York City, where he majored in fashion design. He traveled in Europe and Italy with his partner Pietro Bianco. Larry also was a concessionaire with the French mime Marcel Marceau. Later, he and Pietro opened a House of Fashion in New York City. While in New York, he also attended a culinary school. Larry returned to Alexandria and opened Fashions in Flowers and Food. He began to build a name for himself, not only in Alexandria, but in central Indiana for high quality contemporary floral design and classic catering. Larry was one of those rare, colorful characters of which all who knew him, were fortunate to cross paths with. In all things of life and living Larry “did it my way!”
