Doris M. (Fredette) Angilly, age 88, of Hamilton Avenue, Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Angilly.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Romeo S. and Myrtice A. (Grover) Fredette, she was a life-long Warwick resident.

Mrs. Angilly was employed as an expediter at Morris & Broms in Cranston for 25 years before retiring. She later worked at the former Riccotti’s Sandwich Shop in the Greenwood section of Warwick.

She was a member of the East Greenwich Grange and the Young at Heart Club.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Robert F. Angilly, Jr. and his wife Marge of Warwick, Patricia E. Angilly of Warwick, Richard K. Angilly and his wife Kate of West Brookfield, MA, and Kenneth A. Angilly of Warwick; two brothers, Richard A. Fredette of Warwick and Donald K. Fredette of Coventry; four grandchildren, Jennifer Angilly, Lisa DeWitt, Ryan Angilly and Mary Angilly; and three great-grandchildren, Kianna, Kelsey, and Allison. She was the sister of the late Florence E. Heath and Romeo S. Fredette, Jr.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
