ANDERSON, IN-Joyce Ann (Poole) Norris, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on April 3, 1940 in Linwood to Edgar and Leona (Due) Poole and lived in the Anderson area most of her lifetime. She had worked in the Maternity Department at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was a member of the North Anderson Wesleyan Church and the Frankton American Legion Auxiliary. Joyce loved music and dancing. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and loved all of her friends. However, her family was the first love of her life.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband-Georgie (Jim) Norris in 2014, Brothers-Robert (Sue) Poole, Raymond (Irma) Poole, Sister-Lois Smith
Services honoring Joyce's life and legacy will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria with Pastor Eddie Perciful officiating. Interment will follow in Park view Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 pm to 8 pm.
