Funeral services for Roberta Caroleen Whatley will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 1 at First Assembly of God Church. Pastor David M. Compton will officiate.
Roberta was born September 28, 1940 in Lawrence, Utah the daughter of Vernon Bryan Nichols and Ocie Alma (Maurer) Nichols. She passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Durango, Colorado at the age of 76.
Survivng Roberta are her children, William Whatley (Daniel Rivera) of Las Vegas, Nev., Deneta Jeter of Cortez, Ronald Whatley of Montrose, Colo., Danny Whatley (Dorsa) of Durango Colo.; grand children, Destinee Sanchez (Octoviano), Levi Jeter (Brenda), Brandon Whatley, Alissa Whatley, Eldon Whatley, Heaven Whatley, Alma Whatley, Danny William Whatley, Christina Whatley (Charles) and Anaela Whatley; and eight great grand children. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings Fannie LaVerne Hinton and Norman Nichols
