Paul was born in Cedar Rapids IA to Charles & Dorothy Colony (Nosek). He grew up in Albany OR, graduating from Albany Union H.S. and served in the army during the Vietnam War.
He and his wife Jan Proctor Colony moved to Portland where they raised their family. Paul Loved hunting, fishing, and racing. After years of working as an auto mechanic he retired and moved back to Albany.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Dorothy Colony, sister Cindy Miles, and brother Scott Colony.
He is survived by his wife Jan, children Paulene & Joseph Colony, daughter in law Christina Colony, and sister Lynn Hubert.
He will be missed by many friends and extended family. A celebration of life open house will be from 2-5pm Saturday,September 16th at the Colony residence, 3132 17th Ave. SE in Albany
