Thomas Dale Brower, 53, of Goodrich, died Saturday May 27, 2017.
Tom was born December 4, 1963 in Lapeer to Richard and Evelyn (Holderbaum) Brower. He attended the Elmer A. Knoft Learning Center in Flint. Tom particularly loved attending his workshops which included VIP in Flint and Growth & Opportunity in Lapeer. Tom attended Hadley Baptist Church most of his life. He was a big Detroit Tigers fan and loved horses. Tom lived at the Kindred Spirits Group Home for several years and had made many friends there. (Tom's family would like to specially thank the care givers at Kindred Spirits for the love shown to Tom through the past few years). Tom was such a loving and friendly man, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Evelyn Brower of Goodrich; two brothers: David (Susan) Brower of Brown City and Daniel (Sheryl) Brower of Southgate; nieces and nephews: Savannah (Robert) McClelland, Holly (John) Binder, Rachel Brower, Meredith Brower, Jackson Brower, Justin (Stacey) Brower, and Jerica Brower. Tom is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry & Marjorie Holderbaum and Harold & Fern Brower.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Tom's funeral will be 11:00AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the The Baptist Church of Hadley. Pastor Bill Rowland will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Dawn Memorial Cemetery. Tom's family will receive friends from 10-11AM at church the morning of the service.
