James Daniel Kaliszewski, Sr., age 57, of Metamora, died Thursday, May 25, 2017. Jim was born January 22, 1960 in Dearborn, Michigan, to Ron and Pat (MacDonnell) Kaliszewski. He owned and operated Painters Network, Inc. in Metamora, a home improvement business, for almost 45 years. In recent years, he enjoyed having his sons work along with him in the business. Mr. Kaliszewksi was an avid hunter, he was an especially "big time" deer hunter. Jim loved camping, fishing, boating and just being outdoors. He was a wonderful and adoring father.
Jim is survived by his sons: James Kaliszewski, Jr. of Metamora, Alan Kaliszewski of Metamora and Patrick Kaliszewski of Metamora; parents: Ron and Pat Kaliszewski of Lake Orion; and siblings: Ron (Barb) Kaliszewski, Jr. of Lake Orion and John Kaliszewski of Metamora.
A memorial service for Jim will be held 11:00AM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 West Nepessing Street, Lapeer, Michigan 48446. The family will receive friends 1/2 hour prior to the service at the church, 10:30-11:00AM.
