William A. Swansburg, 84, passed away May 25, 2017 in his home after a long illness. Born on October 19, 1932 in Quincy, MA. He was a CDR. in the USCG and retired after 30 years of service. He then went onto work for Sperry and Raytheon and finally retiring in 1995. He enjoyed traveling the country in his motor home with his wife, Patti, until moving to Edgewater, FL in 1996 and later settling back in NH in 2012. He enjoyed golfing, New England sports, boating, bird watching, his family and a good glass of whiskey. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Dade) Swansburg, of 57 years, his daughter Maryanne Gilbert, son Kirk Swansburg, daughters Kimberly Twomey, Kristen Dionne, and son Kent Swansburg, brother Robert Swansburg and sister Sandra McKinnon. 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. There will be no immediate services.
