Edwin Dunston, 68, of London, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in his residence.

Ed was born November 25, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio a son of Edward James and Edith Louise (Landis) Dunston.

He served in the Viet Nam Conflict from February 1968 through December 1970, as a member of the United States Army, 101 First Airborne Division. He had been employed at the London Country Club for nine years and then worked in security with Big Lots in Columbus for 17 years. He graduated from Madison South and he loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Anita Dunston; daughters: Rhonda Dunston (Chris Harris); Emily (Matt) Bentley; son: Jeremy Dunston (Hope Travis); brother: Rick Dunston; special brother and sister-in-law: Gary (Samantha) Lloyd; grandkids: Matthew and Devon Bentley, Erica Pyles, Joseph Harris, Christie, J.D., Lillian, and Jeffrey Dunston; several nieces and nephews. Special friends: Don Mullins, Keith Friesner, and Dan Gibbs.

Ed was preceded in death by his father; mother and step father: Edith and Ronald "Red" Sexton; son: Jeffrey Lee Dunston.

The family invited friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Sunday from 2-5 PM. where a funeral service will celebrated Monday, 11:00 AM. with the Reverend Jerry Poff officiating. Interment service will follow in the Dennison Chapel Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses
