Nellie B. Hayslip age 84 years of Cherry Fork, Ohio died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Hayslip was born on June 7 1932 the daughter of the late Charley and Inez (Bellomy) Ames in Adams County, Ohio. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Hayslip, five brothers and five sisters.
Nellie was a member of the Cherry Fork Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three daughters Dixie Dearth and Gary of Peebles, OH; Marlene Hilty and Henry of North Apolla, PA; Sue Eye and James of Cherry Fork, OH; six sons Clarence Hayslip of Cherry Fork, OH; Charles Hayslip and Vickie of West Union, OH; Michael Hayslip and Teresa of West Union, OH; Ivan Hayslip of Cherry Fork, OH; Ronnie Hayslip and Vanneta of Winchester, OH; Rodger Hayslip and Donna of West Union, OH; one sister Hazel Woolums of West Union, OH; three brothers James Ames of Michigan, John Ames of Otway, OH; Roy Ames of Peebles, OH; twenty six grandchildren, forty seven great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Freeland Hollow Cemetery under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Norine Behm officiating, with burial to follow. There will be no visitation.
