Jack F. Yost, 80 of Trenton, Florida and formerly of Lodi, Ohio passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville.
He was born in Lodi, OH on Jan. 11, 1937 to Winfield and Gertrude Yost.
Mr. Yost was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He and his late wife Patricia had moved from Lodi to Florida in 1990. They were members of the Long Pond Baptist Church in Chiefland, Florida.
Surviving are his sons, Richard (Terry) Yost of Macon, GA and Robert (Dawn) Yost of St. Petersburg, FL;
his brothers, John Yost of Lodi and Jerry Yost of Missouri; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in November of 2016.
Funeral service will held Monday, Feb. 20, at 10 AM at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi (330-948-1122).
Pastor Joe Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service (9:00 – 10:00 AM) at the funeral home.
