Patricia Lou Alexander was born on September 14, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. She was the only child born to the late James Ellis and Janet Armstrong Ellis.

In her formative years, Patricia's Christian values would be imparted to her from her late mother, Janet Armstrong Ellis. It was in these years that Patricia's passion for a career in nursing began.

Patricia graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas as a member of the Class of 1964. After a period of vocational training, Patricia would pursue a career as an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse). She was employed locally at Santa Rosa Hospital (now Christus Santa Rosa Hospital) and the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital until her retirement in 2009.

In addition to her career as a nurse and a mother, Patricia also enjoyed bowling and travel. She will be remembered as an outgoing person; she lived to serve, putting others before herself.

A Time to Love...Originally, Patricia married Shelton Alexander Jr. giving birth to their only son, Brian Alexander. After several years, she married longtime partner, Aubrey Wright, who would later precede her in 2005.

A Time for Peace..Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Brian Alexander, cousins Bernice Newman, Betty Harris, Andrew Armstrong. Edward Armstrong Jr. great cousins Shawna Newman, Kendra Harris, Chris Armstrong, Eddie Armstrong, Chauncey Harris II, and numerous family and friends.
