Mr. Lawrence J. "Drums" Brancaccio, 59, of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, October 31 at 9:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church , Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Immaculate Conception Chapel Mausoleum, Montclair. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 30 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Larry was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of Nutley. He was an Ironworker and active member of Local #52, NYC, as a studio mechanic and Local #59 as a stagehand. Larry was inducted into the Nutley Hall of Fame in 2011. He was a world-known Nitro Harley Racer with 6 Divisional and 96 Professional wins. He also won 8 National Championships.

He is survived by his beloved parents Anthony "Lefty" and Theresa (nee Cifelli) Brancaccio, his devoted brother Anthony Brancaccio; his loving significant other for 20 years, Eileen Barborino and her children Michelle and Michael; and his loving godchildren Michael, Zachery and Harrison. He is also survived by his many loving cousins and friends.
