Darla Sharlene Wynn Gullette was born on December 18, 1960 in Plainfield, New Jersey, daughter of Mary Magdalene McIntyre Wynn and William Felix Wynn. Educated in the Plainfield Public School System, she graduated from Plainfield High School in 1978.
Darla met the love of her life, Richard Hosea Gullette and they were joined in holy matrimony on June 21, 2001.
She had been an Assistant Supervisor for AT & T in Basking Ridge, New Jersey for 8 years, then a Bus Aide for Vogel Bus Company in Roselle, New Jersey before becoming a Pharmaceutical Assistant at Walgreens in Linden, New Jersey.
Darla loved wearing hats and had a large collection. She also enjoyed cooking spaghetti for her husband, Richard.
Darla Sharlene Wynn Gullette departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Trinitas Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey at the age of 55. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and William Wynn; a sister, Phyllis White and a brother, Dwayne Wynn.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her beloved husband, Richard Gullette of Linden, NJ; 3 sisters, Janice Shivers of Trenton, NJ, Teddi Wynn of Carteret, NJ and Yvonne Daves of Trenton, NJ; a brother, Alex Lattimore; father-in-law, John Richard Gullette (Maryann); sisters-in-law, Tonyia Gullette, Karen White (Charles), Joie Mickens (Jay), Barbara Gullette, Tatrice Daniels (Marty); cousin, Hattie Grant and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
