Shirley Ann Brown, 48, departed this life Mon. Sept. 5, 2016 at home. Born in Plainfield, she was a lifelong resident before moving to Scotch Plains four years ago. She was employed as a teacher's aide with I Am's Temple Christian Academy in Plainfield.
She is survived by her son Larry Brown: her mother and father Louise and George M. Brown; one brother Melvin Brown (Afi); two sisters Stacey and Dionne Brown; her godmother Alice Madlock; god sister Deidre Madlock and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
