Joseph W. McLaughlin, 76, a life-long resident of North Arlington, left this life to join his parents Joseph and Josephine [ nee Borkowski] and his brother Eugene McLaughlin, on Monday, August 29th. He leaves behind his cherished sister, Dolores Loughlin, along with loving nieces and nephews, Michael and Michele Loughlin of Old Tappan, NJ, Eileen Sabato of North Arilington and Trishna Horkin of Omaha, Nebraska. Joe lived a full, care-free life finding great fun in going to the track and casino. His one sure bet was the love he won from his great-nieces and nephews, Brianna, Samantha and Freddie Sabato and CJ, Kayla, Ryan and Evan Loughlin.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 31st (today) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. The funeral will be on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington. Cremation will be private.
