Maxine Kinney, 70 of West Salem, Ohio passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Grahn, Kentucky on Dec. 10, 1945 to David and Thelma (Litteral) Rowland.
She graduated from Big Prarie High School in 1964, and resided in Lodi with her husband Donald for 30 years.
Maxine was a former employee at Nabisco Brands in Seville. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was good with people, and didn't know a stranger. She would do anything for anyone. She loved baking cookies, pies, and candy for the holidays. She loved her animals.
She is survived by her daughters;
Renee (Duff) Kinney and Ruby Kinney, both of Lodi
Son, Charles Sypherd of Youngstown
Grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, and Eric Priebe, Cassidy Cornell, and Sean Clark
Sisters, Jewell Friend of Bolivar
Ellen Rowland (Les) of New Philadelphia
Brothers, Charlie Rowland of Mt. Vernon
David (Mary) Rowland of Mt. Vernon
Jerry (Joyce) Rowland of Mansfield
James (Rosemary) Rowland of Clark
14 nieces and 24 nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 1, at 11:00 AM at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi (330-948-1122).
Pastor Aaron Boggs will officiate.
Burial will follow at Chatham Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
