Alice D. (Warnock) Brown, age 90, of Hazard Avenue, Warwick, died on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Kent Regency in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Brown.
Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Charette) Warnock, she lived in Warwick since 1948.
Mrs. Brown was employed at Kent County Memorial Hospital for over 25 years, serving as credit manager, and later in the admissions office. She retired in December 1987.
She was a charter member of the Kent County Memorial Hospital Credit Union, and a former member of the Hospital Credit Association of RI and the Quota Club of Kent County. She was a communicant of St. Rita Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah J. Lisi and her husband Robert, of East Greenwich; a granddaughter, Sheryl Lisi Cheal of Mansfield, MA; a sister, Patricia J. Shanley of Connecticut; and two brothers, MSG Robert F. Warnock, USAF, (Ret.) of Macon, GA, and David E. Warnock of Plymouth, MA. She was the sister of the late Gladys W. Kendall, Marion L. Warnock, and Richard E. Warnock.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
