John F. Bazydlo, "Johnny B", 84, died August 27, 2016 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.
Born in Harrison he has lived in North Arlington since 1967.
John served as usher at Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Grace Counsel in Harrison.
He worked as the non-foods manager of the Shop Rite in Kearny for 37 years before retiring in 1994.
He is the beloved husband of Helen M. (nee Curran), the cherished father of Pattie Maliszewski and her husband Chuck, Dennis Bazydlo and the late Rosemarie Zoltowski, the adored grandfather of Nicholas Zoltowski, Veronica Walsh, Douglas and Andrew Maliszewski, the loving great grandfather of Aiden, Trevor, Olivia and Natalie, and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and seven sisters amd most recently his sister Theresa Melnyk.
The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Tuesday, August 30 at 9 A.M. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. The entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Monday 3 to 7 P.M.
