Juanita Hanson age 83 years of West Union, Ohio died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Hanson was born on August 28, 1932 the daughter of the late Orville and Nora (Jordan) Roe in Lewis County, Kentucky. Besides her parents Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hanson, son Rick Hanson sisters Frances Young, Norma Ruth Conn, Lorean Hanson, and two brothers Amel and Emmard Roe.
Mrs. Hanson is survived by three daughters Ritta Hanson of Ripley, Ohio; Rosalie Satterfield and Phil of Peebles, Ohio; Christi Cooper and Kelly of West Union, Ohio; one sister Velda Cooper of Olive Hill; Kentucky; five grandchildren, three step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and eight step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Brian Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday June 27, 2016 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.
