Ruth S. Young, age 75, departed this life Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Mother of Raymond Alexander, Anthony Dixon and Artise Harrigan; daughter of Ida and David Harrigan, Sr.; sister of David Harrigan, Martha Ross, Veronica Brown, Donald Harrigan and the late William, Marvin, Doris Jones, Edith Harrigan and Margaret Gordon.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Ruth worked as a nurse and was a past member of Eastern Stars, Faith Chapter Free and Accepted Ancient York Masons. African Harmony Grand Lodge.
Funeral service 11am Thursday February 18th at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19802; viewing 9-10:45am. Burial in Silverbrook Cemetery, Lancaster Avenue and DuPont Road, Wilmington, DE 19805.
