ANDERSON, IN-David L. Johnson, 54, Anderson passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his residence.
David was born on March 28, 1961 in Anderson to Chester and Dorothy (Weston) Johnson and has lived in the Alexandria-Anderson area all of his life time. He was a plumber by trade and had worked in maintenance at several area businesses and apartments. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and bird watching. He was also a Colts fan.

8 Grandchildren-Samuel Johnson Jr., Max Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Jason Johnson, Jacque Lyn Johnson, Hailie Johnson, Victoria Fullen and Walker Fullen
3 Sisters-Merna (Rev. Raymond) Hood-Lapel, Leota (Rev. James) Shuck-Cadiz, Tennessee, Winnie Johnson-Alexandria
4 Brothers-Chester Johnson-Kokomo, Rick (Debbie) Johnson-Alexandria, Jerry (Lori) Johnson-Noblesville, Paul (Kathy) Johnson-Cicero

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-Ora Kay Johnson
Services honoring David's life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Rev. Raymond Hood will officiate. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home after 11 am on Friday prior to the services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Owens Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
