Rosetta M. Yanish, 91 of Watkins, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Fr. Bob Rolfes will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Interment will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Watkins.

Rosetta Yanish was born on March 21, 1924 at Kimball to William and Mathilda (Arens) Van Vleet. On November 18, 1941, Rosetta was united in marriage to Norbert Yanish at St. Anne Catholic Church in Kimball. They farmed at Watkins since 1943. Her husband, Norbert passed away in 1988.

Rosetta was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins and was active with the Council of Christian Women and the quilting group. She was also a member of the Watkins Senior Citizens and the Watkins Lioness.

Her hobbies included gardening, playing cards, word find puzzles, bingo, cooking and baking, and she especially enjoyed fishing.

Rosetta is survived by her children and their spouses, Gloria and Frank Hentges of Watkins, Beverly and George Marx of Nisswa, Pat and John Gilmartin of Colorado Springs, Ron and Nancy Yanish of Watkins; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Delores Wiisonen of Moorehead. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norbert; grandchild, Tony Deladi; brother, Bob Van Vleet; sisters, Geneva Rice and Alvina Rosenow.
