Lois would like you to know her work here is done. That's a big deal. After all, it was her work at Swisslog Translogic, Denny's, and IHOP that really kept her going. on October 5, 2015, though, due to aggressive, unrelenting colon cancer, Lois received a call from her boss, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign¬on bonus: a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time, especially her parents, Buford and Esther Jackson of Olathe, Colorado. Job security and happiness is exactly 110 percent. Her new job takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, crocheting, and reading to her heart's content. Music, laughter, love, and the Lord's embrace are guaranteed. Food is delicious and she'll never feel pain. She left her children — Lois Diane Munda, Earl Buckley Market, Tammy Kim Seela, Janie Marie Market — and her eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren instructions to celebrate her work here, which has now been completed. She also wants to remind them of Ephesians 4:31¬32 which reads, "Stop being mean, bad¬tempered, and angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ."
We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her work ethic, her energy, her love for life, family, and friends at Aurora Hill Baptist Church, but also her colleagues and customers, many of whom over time also became friends. She worked very hard all her life, up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
