Vernon A. Yoder 46 of 2250 CR 70 Sugarcreek died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his residence following a short illness. He was born September 29, 1969 in Holmes County to Andy A. (Edna) Yoder of Sugarcreek and the late Dena A. (Miller) Yoder. He was self-employed in retail sales and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his wife the former Bertha J. Yoder whom he married on May 16, 1991, his children Johnny V. Yoder, Amy V. Yoder, Nathan V. (special friend Sheila) Yoder, Myron V. Yoder, Lisa V. Yoder and Elaine V. Yoder all of the home, 5 brothers Jacob (Elmina) Yoder of Sugarcreek, David (Mary Ann) Yoder of Ragersville, Daniel (Ruth) Yoder, Andy Jr. (Marilyn) Yoder and Paul (Ruth) Yoder all of Sugarcreek, 3 sisters Linda (Dennis) Yoder, Miriam (Leroy) Troyer and Martha (Levi) Miller all of Baltic and father-in-law John J. (Mary) Yoder Jr. of Millersburg. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary. Services will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the Yoder Residence with Minister Vernon Hershberger officiating. Burial will be in the Schmucker Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the Yoder Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
