Funeral services for Jo Adams, 95, of Dallas, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Russell Harris officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
She passed away early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2015, in Sunnyvale. Jo was born February 16, 1920 in Wills Point, the daughter of Emmett Teel and Eulah Mae Hardy Teel. She was raised in Wills Point, where she attended public school. She was married to Grady Brandon Adams. In 1957, she moved to Dallas. Jo was employed by Temco in Grand Prairie and later as a secretary in the I.C.U. for Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed baking, watching T.V., visiting neighbors, bowling, but most of all, fishing at Lake Whitney. Jo was a member of White Rock United Methodist Church in Dallas.
Preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Eulah Mae Teel; husband, Grady Adams; son, Grady Ted Adams and her sister, Frances Teel Fletcher.
Jo is survived by her daughter, Kay Bradford & husband, Clifford, of Dallas; two grandchildren, Brandy Elise Butler, of Dallas and Emmett P. Butler, of Austin; niece, June Hatfield & husband, Tony and their daughter, Heather, all of Houston; four step-grandchildren, Jeff Bradford & wife, Dennice, of Durant, Oklahoma, Todd Bradford & wife, Tonya, of Frisco, Mark Bradford & wife, Cari, of Sunnyvale and Sara Gonzales & husband, Luis, of Lewisville and ten step great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to service.
