Alma J. Yoder 61 of 1720 TR 183 Baltic, OH died peacefully at her home after a battle with cancer on Wednesday July 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born July 29, 1953 in Holmes County to the late John S. and Susie (Yoder) Troyer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish. She is survived by her husband Roman D. Yoder whom she married October 26, 1972; six children David (Miriam) Yoder of Dundee, Miriam (Allen) Yoder of Millersburg, Martha (Roy) Barkman of Baltic, Susie (John) Miller of Millersburg, Leroy Yoder and Duane Yoder (special friend Wilma Yoder) both of the home; 18 grandchildren; five sisters Ada Yoder of Baltic, Lydia Ann (David) Raber of Millersburg, Mattie (John) Troyer of Baltic, Susie Mae(Junior) Troyer of Millersburg and Effie (Paul) Miller of Baltic. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Roman H. Yoder. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the Yoder Residence with Bishop Raymond Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call any time at the Yoder Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
