Margery Jane Muskat, 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 She was born in Belmont, MA, on June 25, 1940, a daughter of the late David and Lillian (Modes) Ginsberg. She graduated from Belmont High School and earned her BA in Education from the University of Massachusetts. Margery was joined in marriage with Irwin Muskat on May 27, 1962. She was a 6th grade teacher at McKelvie Elementary School, Bedford. Margery was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, a member of the Sisterhood at TAY, and a life member of Hadassah. She enjoyed tennis, was an avid golfer and a 50 year member of the Manchester Country Club and the Broken Sound Country Club, Boca Raton, FL, and a very generous supporter of many local, regional and national charitable organizations. Margery enjoyed spending time with family at their summer home on Welch Island on Lake Winnipesaukee.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 53 years, Irwin; three children, Dan Muskat and his wife Lisa, Sue Knoll and her husband Philip, and Lisa Muskat; three grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha Muskat, and Lanna Knoll; two siblings, Marion Levine, and the Honorable Judge Robert Ginsberg and his wife Gail; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ava Knoll.
The funeral service will begin at 11 am on June 4, 2015 at Temple Adath Yeshurun, 152 Prospect Street, Manchester, with burial to follow at the Manchester Hebrew Cemetery. The family will be sitting Shiva at the family home from 7 to 9 pm with a Minyan service at 7 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2015.
