Steven Floyd York, of Lapeer, (formerly of Lincoln Park & Detroit) died Sunday, May 3, 2015.
Steven was born April 19, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Walter C. and Pauline York. He married Dorothy Cloutier on August 27, 1949 in Detroit. Steven was a truck driver for Conrail – a career that spanned 45 years. He loved camping and fishing. Above all, Steven loved spending time with his family.
Steven is survived by his children: Sharon (Gary) Kinne of Memphis, TN, Judith (William) Malloy of Lapeer, Nancy (Mike) Love of Vassar, Steven York Jr. of Arizona and Ken York of Vassar; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; one sister; three brothers and his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
