Chesapeake- Myong Ok "Kim" Velazquez, went to eternal rest April 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Kim was born is South Korea and in 1969 married the love of her life, Raoul Velazquez, Master Sergeant, U.S. Army deceased. Shortly afterward she became a United States citizen. Throughout her life she's held several positions in the workforce, but her true passion was taking care of her family.
Kim is survived by her sons, Angel and Luis Velazquez. As well as many other family and friends.
Kim is predeceased by her parents as well as her Husband, Raoul. Together they will lay at rest for eternity.
A visitation will be held for Kim Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 10:00am to Noon in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake Chapel, 929 S. Battlefield Blvd, with a burial in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at 1:30pm with Chaplain Russell Holland officiating. Condolences may be shared with the Velazquez family at altmyer.com.
