Georgie Ann Bosak, 81, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home in Needville, Texas. She was born in Richmond, Texas on October 31, 1933 to Johnnie and Vlasta Baca. She attended school in Richmond, and then Needville High School where she was the first drum major and a cheerleader. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the American Legion Ladies Auxillary, Unit 350, and the Needville Fire Department Auxillary. She volunteered with the Needville Youth Fair, Harvest Festival, Senior Citizens and the S.P.J.S.T. nursing home. She worked at First State Bank for 37 years, where she made lasting friendships with fellow employees and customers. She married Clarence (Sonny) Bosak on November 19, 1953. They made their home in Guy, Texas where he farmed and worked at Texas Gulf Sulphur Company. They were blessed with 3 children and moved to Needville in 1966. They loved dancing, playing cards, and visiting with friends. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them, attending their activities, and making holidays special with her cooking and baking. She also loved quilting, kolache baking and her yard. She dearly loved her friends and enjoyed Bible study, domino games, road trips and just visiting.

Georgie Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her brother, Bruce Baca, wife, Connie; son, Crayden Bosak and wife, Phyllis, grandchildren, Hanna Lindemann and husband, Derrick, Lacey and Shelby Bosak, Derek Muniz and great grandson, Jaxon Muniz; daughter, Patrice Ognoskie, husband, Randy, grandchildren Torrey, wife, Haley and Hillary and Cody Ognoskie; daughter, Candace Williams, husband, Gene and grandchildren Landon and Mason Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thanks goes out to Vantage Hospice for their loving care and Home Instead helper, Crystal Knight.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 9202 Main Street in Needville, Texas. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville with Father James Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will include Torrey Ognoskie, Cody Ognoskie, Landon Williams, Mason Williams, Derrick Lindemann, and Kirby Kunkel. Jaxon Muniz will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
