E.E. "Gene" Boshart, 90, of Missouri City, passed away quietly with his family at his side on March 21, 2015. He was born November 3, 1924 in Rylie, Texas. During WWII, Gene served our country with distinction, earning two Bronze Stars as a Radioman First Class in the U.S. Navy. He obtained his Industrial Engineering Degree from SMU in 1961. Gene was the President and Owner of First Electric and was an avid golfer. Gene will truly be missed.
Gene is preceded in death by parents, Guy and Eunice Boshart; daughter, Dawn Alvarado and son, Mark Boshart.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Maxine Boshart; son, Bryan Boshart; daughter-in-law, Angie Boshart; grandchildren, Alex, Eric and Catie Boshart and Austin Alvarado.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home and entombment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
