Carmella Borzillo, 95, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015, at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville PA. Born April 1, 1919 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Angela (DeAngelis) Borzillo, and loving wife of the late Cosimo Borzillo.
Mrs. Borzillo was a dedicated parishioner to the Holy Saviour Church, she also worked many years at Conte Luna. On her spare time she enjoyed gardening, especially when it came to taking care of her vegetable garden that she loved dearly. Carmella was also the youngest of her six siblings.
Mrs. Borzillo is survived by her two nieces, Marie Christine Corbo, of Lansdale, and Mimi (Joseph) Yelo, of Blue Bell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her five sisters; Victoria, Maria, Amelia, Antoinette, and Philomena. She was also precede in death by her three brothers; Joseph, Peter, and John.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Mrs. Borzillo on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 9-9:45 am, at the Holy Saviour Church
407 E Main St. Ntn. Pennsylvania. Mass will follow the visitation at 10:00am. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton, Pennsylvania 19403.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice, 523 Plymouth Rd Ste 225, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
