C. Robert "Bob" Wilson, 85 of Plain City died March 8, 2015 in Bluebird Retirement Center. Born January 10, 1930 in Mechanicsburg to Robert and Louise (Goldsmith) Hunter and Charles Wilson. Bob was a veteran of the Korean War, member of the Center St. Church of Christ in Christian Union, was a life time farmer and had a passion for missionary work, where he traveled to Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Honduras and Dominica.
Survived by wife Janet Marie (Littler) Wilson; children JoEllen Wilson (Linda Elliott), Julie (Guy) Thompson, John (Christie) Wilson; grandchildren Jakob Wilson, Casey (John) Moser, Hayden Thompson, Amy (David) Long and Angie Johnson; great grandchildren Tyler and Addison Leach, Zach and Zane Johnson; sister Marilyn (Hunter) Smith, and special nephew Kenny Hunter and other nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents, son James A. Wilson, brother Leslie "Butch" Hunter and brother in law Robert Littler.
Friends are invited to call at the Center St. CCCU Wednesday from 3-8 PM, where a celebration of Bob's life will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Lee Stanley officiating.
