Marilyn A. Whaley
Age 82, of Minerva, passed away Friday February 27, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born September 15, 1932 in Sugarcreek, OH to the late Hugo "Pete" and Pearl (Christner) Miller. Marilyn was a Canton area resident most of her life and retired from Aultman Hospital after 35 years of service as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church in Alliance and former member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Canton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a special friend, George Yake. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tom Rickels of Minerva; two grandchildren, Cody and Taylor Rickels; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Rickels; one brother, Harlan Miller of Groveport, OH; canine companions, Bozworth and Elway. A private family service will be conducted in East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek, OH. There will be no public services. Memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society at P.O.
