Pauline Christine (Kelley) Sundnas, 93, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday morning February 15, 2015 in Wachusett Manor after an illness.

Pauline was born in Gardner July 5, 1921, daughter of the late Chester and Christine (Gustafson) Kelley, and has lived in Gardner all her life.

Pauline is a 1939 graduate of Gardner High School. She worked for Mass Electric, the Greenwood Pool, and prior to her retirement in 1989 the City of Gardner Public Works and Cemetery Department. Pauline will be remembered as a hard working woman, a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pauline will be greatly missed by her three children; John Sundnas of Haverhill, NH, Janet Percy and Joanne Whitney both of Gardner, two brothers; John and Richard Kelley, one sister; Patricia Johansson, seven grandchildren; and eight grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by three brothers; James, Robert, and Norman Kelley.

At Pauline's request, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's memory may be made to the First Congregational Church of Gardner, 28 Green St., Gardner, MA 01440.
