Virginia D. (Stanbrook) Kimball, 88, died February 3, 2015 at Villa Crest. She was born in Richmond, VA, January 5, 1927, a daughter of Alfred J. and Lillian (Chesborough) Stanbrook. She was a long-time Manchester resident having moved from Hooksett in 1956. She was employed by Amoskeag National Bank for 34 years and held the position of Assistant Vice President. After retiring from banking, Mrs. Kimball went into real estate sales and had a second successful career.

She served her community and was involved with many boards and participated in many organizations including serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the United Way Campaign 1974-75, Chamber of Commerce, Manchester Transit Authority, William J. Moore Center, Board of Realtors, and was a member of First Congregational Church, Manchester.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Guy C. Kimball; a sister, Alice J. Freese and her husband Lloyd H. Freese of NH; a niece, Karen Wilson and her husband, Steven of NH; a nephew, Gary R. Freese and wife, Janet of CO; and two grand-nieces, Dr. Erika Wilson and Eva Wilson.

Services: There will be 30 minutes of calling from 9:30 to 10 am with the memorial celebration of Virginia's life beginning at 10 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Goodwin Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Moore Center Services Inc., 195 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH, 03102, or Amedisys Hospice, 1 E. Commons Drive, Londonderry, NH, 03053, or First Congregational Church, 508 Union Street, Manchester, NH, 03104.
