Irene M. Helbick, 93, died peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on January 27, 2015 following a short period of declining health. Born in Nashua, NH, the oldest of 11 children, she resided for many years in Port Charlotte, Florida before moving to Weare, NH 8 years ago to live with her daughter. Mrs. Helbick was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Joseph Helbick, who died in 2012.
Mrs. Helbick was a loving mother who enjoyed her homemaker role for decades with cooking, baking, canning, sewing and as a recycling expert. She cherished being surrounded by her extensive family members and was often quick to produce a deck of cards. She will be greatly missed by her 5 children, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 6 surviving siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
