Horace Thomason "Pete", 85, departed this life Fri. Jan. 16, 2015 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Anderson, SC, he lived in New Brunswick before moving to Plainfield 53 years ago. He was employed with Bristol-Myers Squibb in New Brunswick for 45 years retiring in 1989. Pete as he was known, was a member of Fountain Baptist Church in Summit, Stone Square Lodge #38 P.H.A. F. & A. M. in Plainfield and Golconda Temple #24 in Newark.
He was predeceased by his son Peter Thomason in 1983 and a granddaughter Amy Castro in 2009.
Surviving is his wife of 53 years Dorothy Thomason; 3 daughters Lillian Potts, Denise Crenshaw (David) and Joann Thomason; 6 grandchildren Neil, Heather, Jill, William, Monique and Peter, Jr.;8 great grandchildren Adam, Noel, Arielle, Alexa, Michael, Eric, Jamiah and Dashawn and a daughter in law Charlotte Thomason.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Reginald L. Warren Craftsman Club of Stone Square Lodge, 722 St. Mary's Ave., Plainfield, NJ 07060.
