Rosella (Rafa) Bugaj, 88, of Wheeling, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, in Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born September 14, 1926, to the late Elick and Anna (Pigan) Rafa. She worked for Block Brothers as a book keeper for many years and was a former member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Matthew Bugaj; sisters, Mary Rafa-Lisik, Anna Rafa-Schlick, Nora Rafa and Jessica Rafa; and brothers, Walter and Michael Rafa.
Rosella is survived by her sister, Catherine Wasieczko of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; brother, Paul Rafa and wife Joan of Wheeling; special niece, Mary (Lisik) Greenberg of Corona del Mar, CA; special nephew, Curtis Oliver, of Wheeling; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 23 at 10am, in the Bishops Chapel at Mt. Calvary, Wheeling, with Rev. John Beckley SM as celebrant.
