Herman Fitzgerald age 78 years of West Union, Ohio died Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Ohio State University Hospital. Mr. Fitzgerald was born December 17, 1935 the son of the late Ray N. and Camella (Burr) Fitzgerald in Dayton, Ohio. Besides his parents; Mr. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by siblings; Elmer, Howard, Jackie, Virginia, Freda, Reeda, Raymond, Robert, Helen Ann, Herman Willard, Gene and a granddaughter; Ashlee Rae Fitzgerald.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years; Monna Fitzgerald of West Union, Ohio; two daughters; Teresa Combess of West Union, Ohio; Becky Tolle and husband Mike of Seaman, Ohio; three sons; Ray Fitzgerald and wife Mary; Roy Fitzgerald and wife Deena and Chris Fitzgerald and wife Connie all of West Union, Ohio; one brother; Ross Fitzgerald and wife Martha of Scioto County, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with military services by the Adams County Honor Guard at 7:00 P.M. Following cremation, interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
